Zach Anner, a man with cerebral palsy, won a contest to
create a TV show on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network). The show will be half hour episodes in six segments. It’s entitled “Rollin’ with Zach.”
Anner visits cities such as New York, San Francisco, and Las
Vegas. He tries many activities such as
rock climbing, surfing and waterskiing.
While performing these activities, he refuses to let his wheelchair
become an obstacle.
“It was just an incredible journey,” Anner told Disability
Scoop about the show.
Anner was a well-loved participant when the contest debuted
in summer 2010. Songwriter John Mayer
was so impressed that he decided to write the theme song for the show. “Rolling with Zach” debuts December 12 at 8
pm EST on OWN.
