The people highlighted in TLC’s reality show “The Little
Couple” is pondering adopting a child who is physically/mentally challenged. Jennifer Arnold and Bill Klein are height
challenged as well. They say they are
open to being the parents of a child with height challenges or other types of
physical/mental challenges.
According to season previews of the show obtained by
People.com the couple states adoption is something they have always been
thinking. They want to get more serious
about the topic. The show features the
couple looking at adoption websites.
When asked if they would seriously consider adopting a child
with physical/mental challenges Jennifer states, “it’s exactly what we’re
looking for.” She added that if they
could adopt all the dwarfs on the webpages their house would fill fast. Jennifer states that the choice to adopt a
child with physical/mental challenges was a mutual one.
Jennifer and Bill encountered a setback in starting their
family. In November 2011, a mother who
agreed to carry their child had a miscarriage.
“The Little Couple” is shown Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
